Sad news about Bruce Elder and his campaign

We’ve received the sad news that Staunton city council member Bruce Elder, who was preparing to run against Bob Goodlatte for Sixth District Congressman this year, has had to end his campaign due to treatment for cancer.

Can you collect signatures to get Mark Warner on the ballot?

The Mark Warner for Senate reelection campaign needs volunteers to circulate petitions to get Sen. Warner on the ballot for this year’s election.

The State Board of Elections has recommended that we collect 15,000-20,000 signatures of qualified voters — with at least 700 signatures from each congressional district.

The deadline to submit petitions to the State Board of Elections is March 27th. The Warner campaign would like to receive completed petitions forms by March 1st.

If you would like to help collect signatures, please contact Isaac Sarver, WesternVA Petitions Lead, 540.616.8393, isaac@markwarnerva.com.

If you need instructions and petition sheets, contact Gene Zitver at gzitver@aol.com.
