Dorothy Blackwell and Mimi Elrod appointed by Gov. McAuliffe

Two members of the Lexington Democratic Committee have been honored with appointments by Gov. Terry McAuliffe.

Dorothy Blackwell, a graphic artist and painter and founder of the Nelson Gallery, was named to the Virginia Commission for the Arts.

Mimi Elrod, mayor of Lexington, was appointed to the Governor’s Task Force for Local Government Mandates.

Congratulations to Dorothy and Mimi.

Mark Warner field office opens in Roanoke August 2
