“Virtual phone-bank” for Democratic control of State Senate

A special election on Tuesday August 19 in the 38th District of far southwest Virginia will decide whether Democrats or Republicans control the Virginia Senate.

Join Senator Mark Warner and other Democrats to march in the Buena Vista Labor Day parade on Monday September 1.

As the traditional party of working people, this is our chance to show our pride in and support for America’s workers.

If you can march, join us at 9 a.m. at the Parry McCluer Middle School, 2329 Chestnut Ave., in Buena Vista. The parade will end at Glen Maury Park, where there will be Democratic speakers.

If you want to attend the pre-march Labor Day breakfast for Democrats at 7:30 a.m. at the Parry McCluer High School Commons, contact Mary Whitten at 540-261-2974.
