News-Gazette endorses Ellen Arthur

Excellent news! The Lexington News-Gazette today endorsed our candidate Ellen Arthur for House of Delegates (page 6). If you don’t subscribe, be sure to get a copy and spread the word. It’s a terrific boost to our campaign’s momentum, and increases our chances of pulling off a tremendous victory on November 3.

Special thanks to John Winfrey, Pat Thomas, Beth Houser and Pat Mayerchak for their letters to the editor in support of Ellen.

There will be one more issue of The News-Gazette and The Rockbridge Advocate before the November 3 election. If you haven’t written a letter to the editor yet on behalf of Ellen, but want to do so, this is your last chance. However The News-Gazette’s policy is that only positive endorsements will be accepted in next week’s issue.

Letters to The News-Gazette must be no more than 300 words and submitted by 1 p.m. on Monday. You can email them to:

Letters to The Advocate may be emailed to:

Finally, if you’re willing to help with Ellen’s campaign in these final two weeks, and you haven’t already done so, please complete this form.

Thanks, and let’s hope to celebrate a victory on November 3.

Three ways to help Ellen Arthur win!

Less than a month to go before the election. It’s “all hands on deck” time if we want Ellen Arthur to replace Ben Cline as our delegate in Richmond.

There are three simple ways to help:

1. Knock on doors.

2. Make phone calls.

3. Write a letter to the editor.

Even if you can do only one, that would be a great contribution toward achieving a great victory for the people of the 24th District on November 3.

Please complete this survey as soon as possible and let the campaign know what you’ll do to help.
