Join us for Labor Day in Buena Vista

Labor Day in Buena Vista– Monday September 4– includes a full slate of events for Democrats!

• The Buena Vista Democratic Committee will host its 42nd Labor Day Breakfast at 7:30 am at Parry McCluer High School, 100 Bradford Drive.

Guests will include:
State Senator Creigh Deeds of Charlottesville
State Delegate David Reid of Loudoun County, a native of Rockbridge County
Jade Harris, Democratic candidate for State Senate District 3
Randall Wolf, Democratic candidate for House of Delegates District 36
Stephanie Clark, Democratic candidate for House of Delegates District 37

Tickets are $40 each. To make arrangements please call Mary Whitten at 540-817-5172 by August 30.

• March or ride with fellow Democrats in the Labor Day parade through downtown Buena Vista starting at 9:30 am. (Information on the starting location to come.)

• At 11 am, we’ll gather for the traditional candidates’ speeches at Glen Maury Park.

This will be a great opportunity to show our Democratic pride and unity as we head into the final stretch of the 2023 campaign. Join us if you can!
